California Contractors License Bond
The California Contractor License Bond is a $12,500 surety bond currently. In California, anyone who contracts to perform work that is valued at $500 or more for labor and materials must hold a current, valid license from the CSLB and carrier a Contractor License Bond. If a California contractor has had issues with his/her license sometimes the CLB will require a Disciplinary Bond.
